Guidelines and Standards
Lee Institute aims for our website to conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1 AA). We have conducted an accessibility audit of our website based on these guidelines.
Testing Methods
This website is tested using a combination of automated and manual accessibility methods, including Google Lighthouse, axe (Web Accessibility Testing), and Agency Dominion’s accessibility platform. The full site is scanned to run automated tests, with guided manual review where automated testing is insufficient or unable to evaluate specific criteria. Together these cover a broad range of WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
Manual review by our team supplements automated testing for the criteria that require human judgment, such as keyboard navigation, reading order, and text contrast over images.
